Why bundling makes sense
Every visit has fixed costs: the drive, unloading, setting up hoses and equipment, pre-treating, packing up and the final walkthrough. When the crew is already on site with everything running, adding a second area is efficient. That efficiency is why booking two services in one visit earns a 5% discount and three or more earn 10%, as of October 2026.
There is also a quality reason. Some surfaces affect each other. Wash a house after cleaning the driveway and dirty runoff lands on the clean concrete. Do them together in the right order and everything finishes clean.
Driveway plus walkway (and the sidewalk)
This is the most common pairing. The driveway and front walk connect, share the same concrete, and get dirty in similar ways. Cleaned together, they match. Cleaning only one often makes the other look worse by contrast.
At $0.50 per square foot for driveways and $0.55 for walkways, a 600 square foot driveway and 150 square foot walkway total $382.50, and 5% off saves about $19. Add the public sidewalk out front as part of the walkway area and the curb view improves a lot.
House wash plus gutters
Gutter cleaning at $1.25 per linear foot pairs naturally with house washing at $0.35 per square foot of wall. Clean gutters first so debris and dirty water do not drip onto freshly washed walls. Then wash the house from the top down. This combination is especially useful before the rainy season, roughly November to March, when overflowing gutters can streak walls and soak foundations.
If your gutters have black streaks on the outside, those are cleaned as part of the house wash approach rather than the gutter cleaning itself. Our guide on gutter tiger stripes explains why.
Patio plus pool deck, or roof plus gutters
In the backyard, the patio and pool deck often flow into each other. Cleaning both at once avoids a visible line where one stops and the other starts. Patio cleaning is $0.65 per square foot. If the pool deck is concrete, it is usually quoted as patio area; ask if you are unsure how your space should be entered in the calculator.
A roof soft wash at $0.95 per square foot sends debris and rinse water into the gutters, so adding gutter cleaning on the same visit is the logical finish. Add a house wash and you reach the 10% tier with everything done top to bottom in the right order.
The right order for a multi-service visit
Top to bottom is the rule. Roof first, then gutters, then walls, eaves and windows, then fences, and finally flat surfaces like the driveway, walkway and patio. Water and dirt always move down, so cleaning the ground last means it stays clean. Solar panels are usually cleaned after the roof if both are booked.
When Say Wash It handles a bundle, the crew plans the order during setup so nothing has to be cleaned twice.
Fences fit into the middle of that order. Fence cleaning is $2.15 per linear foot, and wood fences often drip brown tannin water onto concrete below. Washing the fence before the driveway or walkway means any runoff gets cleaned away in the final pass.
When not to bundle
Bundling is a good deal only when you actually need the extra services. If your house was washed last year and still looks clean, skip it. A discount on something you do not need is still money spent. Look at each area honestly, pick what needs it, and remember that every visit still has a $195 minimum, so a bundle of very small areas may land at that minimum either way. Then use the instant quote calculator to see the exact total and discount for your combination. The final flat price is confirmed before work begins.
Seasonal bundles that make sense in LA
Before the rainy season, roughly November to March, gutters, roof and driveway make a strong trio: clear the water path, then clean the concrete before mud season. After jacaranda bloom in late spring, the driveway, walkway and patio under the trees benefit from one combined visit. After Santa Ana wind events, a house wash plus windowsills, patio and walkways removes the dust in one pass. Grouping by season keeps the work purposeful and the discount real.
